Mechanical and Electrical Contracts Ltd are a Huddersfield based electrical contracting company with over 30 years' experience within the electrical industry carrying out electrical services locally and throughout the country.

We work within the Domestic, Commercial and Industrial sectors for householders, builders, architects, large corporate companies, education establishments, interior designers, business owners, duty holders, estate agents and many more. We design, install, test/inspect and maintain electrical systems.

Our work ranges from small domestic electrical installations to large complex factory installs to fire alarm and data installations.

We are proud of the fact that we have a large repeat customer base and produce a high standard of work at competitive prices, delivered on time, under budget and within Health and Safety guidelines. 

As members of CHAS construction we are committed to the safety and welfare of our clients and employees. We regard health and safety as a priority when undertaking any task.

All our works are to the current wiring regulations BS 7671 and overseen by a governing body - the NICEIC - of which we are an approved contractor.

We have a team of highly skilled and highly qualified engineers who can complete and maintain the most complex of electrical installations within set time frames and budgets.
